The Caddoa Dam project was a huge undertaking, judging from the many pictures at the Corps of Engineer&#039;s office at the Dam, and some history I&#039;ve garnered at the Las Animas Library sources.

You must feel so proud when you visit John Martin - to know your Dad was a part of this beautiful &#039;pillar on the plains&#039;.

		<description>Very interesting article.  My father worked on the Caddoa Dam project in the Spring of 1942.
I finished my last one month of school in Hasty, which was a very small town.  When school was out we moved to Rocky Ford so that we had larger living accomadations.

Not sure why dad ended his career at Hasty but in August 1942 he moved on to California where he lived the rest of his life.
