Parade Route Chatter in Lamar
The Sand & Sage Parade is always an exciting event in Lamar, with citizens lining the streets for the frolicking run along Main, with clowns, miniature cars, horses, and all the great marketing potential for Main Street Businesses. Before the parade, patrons of Downtown Shopping stop by Daylight Donut for a fresh baked roll and coffee or their favorite other morning beverage.

Response to Lamar City Administrator’s Letter
The citizens of Lamar have been considering City Administrator, Ron Stock’s precarious health situation, and we are concerned about the amount of stress Mr. Stock is enduring on behalf of the position he holds. In light of his Doctor’s recommendation to either reduce the stress or quit his job, we’ve come to an enlightened solution.

Complacency – Watch and Wait
When I spoke with another citizen about the events of the past few weeks, particularly the Urban Redevelopment Plan currently on the table with City Council, she said, “I don’t like it, but I’ll just watch and see what happens.”
