LCC Crafts Fair Weekend
When Lamar small businesses recently gathered to help build business in their various fields of interest, they each had plenty of time to meet for coffee at The Perk on West Elm Street, in Lamar, Colorado. That open slot of time ended recently when leader, Kimberlie King of Always and Forever Video Memories filled up her schedule with jobs, Carol Owens of Country Treasures filled up her time with preparations for the LCC Holiday Crafts show, and other members of the organization announced they were too busy for the Friday night event. Sounds like the economic slump scheduled for the Lamar, Colorado area might have been put on hold, for at least a few days. Perhaps the delayed slump could be removed all together from the area, if local business owners and citizens get out to the Craft Fair and buy Christmas gifts from local businesses rather than supporting so many out of area businesses? Given the opportunity, we’re certain most folks would prefer a locally made, hand crafted gift. It’s a weekend of visiting the college for the crafts show… Don’t miss it! Brought to you by:
