Fall Festival Declared Successful!
At least those who were able to attend said so! I spent the day working in Denver, texting friends and Facebook marketing for those who were marketing something special at the Festival. And working… There is that scenario that says one shall accomplish great things on Saturday, because it comes before Sunday and REST. I held onto that scenario. As reports began to arrive, “Someone said they saw my book on Facebook and came by the store to get one autographed.” “Do you realize that more than half of the people in my store at one point had seen the Fall Festival announced on Facebook?” “I’m really liking the social media thing… my customers mentioned that they were reminded to attend the fall festival by a tweet on twitter.” “I wonder who was marketing my business on Facebook and Twitter? I had several customers announce that they’d been reminded to stop by when they got on Facebook.” And, my favorite Oris quote, “She recognized my book from all the way across the room because she saw it on Facebook.” What is this world coming to?
