Parks

Parks in Lamar, Colorado are located strategically around the community in every part of the area. Some offer specific sports opportunities, activities, and niche specific interests, while others offer a more rounded field of opportunities. The list of parks here is by no means exclusive and more parks will be added as information is available.

Willow Creek Park

Located on the southeastern corner of older Lamar, this park was build during the WPA Era in the 1930′s and represents a time when life was gentler, offering more family time and often simpler. The structures in the park are currently part of a renovation program put together by Rick Akers and other members of the community.
