Local Residents Write

Ava Betz wrote the Prowers County History Book. An avid student of history, Ava’s interests have brought her to current day activities as the President of the Prowers County Historical Society. As the former editor of a local paper, Ava Betz is well known around Southeastern Colorado for her talents in writing and her interest in History. Recent projects include Zebulon Pike Bi-Centennial, Big Timbers Museum, and Lamar Historic Preservation Board.
