Mrs. Munro Recognized by Students

If you’re a member of the group You Know You’re from Lamar on Facebook, you’re already aware that Mrs. Munro was recognized by former students with Valentines this holiday, most likely including a selection of notes, essays and short remembrances, all checked for grammar and punctuation errors. For a lifetime, Mrs. Munro taught at Lamar High School, bringing English to the masses who studied there. Her expertise in literature and language arts is renowned by alumni, often remembered for her strict requirements and classroom demands, but more often thought of as an inspiration by those who survived her course studies with better than average grades… Which included most of her students, because she went the extra distance required to make certain they not only passed, but excelled in her classes. One former student went a little bit further.
