Octoberfest – The Celebration of Autumn

It’s been said that Octoberfest is a celebration in the old country where men who were unmarried gathered to find a bride for the winter. True or not, this writer can’t imagine a more time worn effort made by women to find a men. Fall Festival Declared Successful!

At least those who were able to attend said so! I spent the day working in Denver, texting friends and Facebook marketing for those who were marketing something special at the Festival. Small Town Car Dealerships

“Recently, I got caught up in the process of buying a used vehicle for my son. Not that I was paying for it, or even looking, but I found a vehicle that I knew he’d want and pointed it out to him. The negotiation process took a little while longer than I expected, but he ended up driving home in a relatively reasonably priced, used car.” The story had come from a friend who knew several local used car dealers and could have purchased the car from any of them. The negotiations took place between two people, neither of them a business owner, on a local side street. A hundred miles later, she shared that her son was putting a new engine in the vehicle he’d bought, because the engine blew after he bought it. I cringed. I know stories like that from local used car sales lots, too. There are good ways and bad ways to sell a used car. The average sales rep will talk you into a new/used car that is beyond your means, because he wants you to buy a bigger more expensive car, so he can have a bigger payoff. That’s not a good deal read more…
