Living the Dream – Jobs in Lamar
During a recent visit in Lamar, I noticed there’s more than the usual number of folks looking for jobs. A few asked if I knew of any jobs in the community. That had been my purpose for going to Lamar. Within the realm of building new businesses, I’d come across an opportunity that is meant for building in a small community where businesses grow jobs, opportunities and more options for new businesses. The reality of building a new business in a community where everyone knows everyone else is that businesses grow from within. The opportunities of new business abound and whether a new business is independently owned, owned by the community, or owned by an outsider whose desire is to build jobs within the community, the multitude of new opportunities surrounding a new business can be big enough to increase the growth of a community. People of Lamar have opened up their doors to invite businesses in without hesitation in the past and this business also will be coming into the community, arms open wide in acceptance. World Series 2011 Using 2009 Built Ball Parks
Across from ALCO Store in Lamar, Colorado, the new (in 2009) Ball Parks welcome World Series 2011, the Babe Ruth Softball 16 & up leagues will be playing August 6 – 13th, 2011. Come on out to the Ball Parks, or the Sand & Sage Fair Grounds for activities and excitement. There’ll be plenty to do, plenty of fun to be had and everyone will have a great time. Sand and Sage Fair will be going on from the 7th to the 14th, of August, so you’ll have plenty to do.
