YCLoC come to Lamar
Sean Verhoeff, Executive Director of Young Conservative Leaders of Colorado announced earlier today that he and several conservative candidates will be visiting Lamar, Colorado on May 17th in support of the 5000 Year Leap Class taking place at the Lamar Community Building. The class teaches the fundamental foundation and purpose of the Constitution of the United States of America. This class is where Sean Verhoeff determined to make a difference by striking out on his own to not only educate the youth of America about the foundational purposes of our forefathers, but also about the importance of knowing and standing up for the Constitution of the United States. “The people of Colorado cannot afford to allow the Washington Political Machine to select Colorado’s candidates for state representation. Jim Faull Receives Endorsement from Young Conservative Leaders of Colorado
DENVER,CO (Verhoeff) April 23, 2010 – Young Conservative Leaders of Colorado endorsed Sheriff Jim Faull in his race for Sheriff of Prowers County. Faull currently seeks his fourth term unopposed. Faull is the first announced endorsement by the YCLoC at http://youngconservativeleadersofcolorado.com. More announcements will be coming shortly. Faull said, “I have been in law enforcement in Prowers County for over 30 years. I have the experience and training to provide the county with comprehensive law enforcement. I believe in making sure everyone’s constitutional rights are upheld and protected.” Faull stated that he is a firm believer in community policing where law enforcement is responsive to the citizens. Christian Censorship – STOP it!
Dear Christian Friends, There’s no doubting the attack on Christ and Christmas, this season being especially full of vitriol by the left. Below is my letter to the editor in response to local theories that Christ was the product of rape by a liberal pastor/columnist: I’ve read all of the recent disparaging remarks concerning Christ and Christmas (not the least of which was done by an alleged pastor) and have been wondering why such a thing is happening. This is a time when the majority of people in our nation are celebrating a season they hold both dear and holy, Christmas. Was there a pro-Christian article or letter written that someone had to respond to, or was it just another effort by those of the progressive liberal left to exert their minority views on the rest of us? In my opinion it was the latter. It’s no stretch of the imagination to see why so many feel emboldened to practice the opposite of what they preach (tolerance) in regards to Christianity since we now have the most liberal president in American history who has appointed numerous Maoists, Marxists, atheists, and eco-tyrannists to his cabinet and administration.
