Raging Hailstorm Hits Arkansas Valley

We awoke at 5:30 AM to rocks slamming our roof. It lasted about 15 minutes, complete with black cloud, cracking thunder and flashes of lightning.  The noise slowed for several minutes, then hammered again for another 10 or so.  When we dared to open our curtains, with the fear of smashing glass passed by, a complete coat of white took the eye in all four directions.  Small ponds covered several parts of our little .5 acre, all covered in hail-balls.
