Good Food, Good Fun
Just a couple days back, Danielle Simone, a writer from southeastern Colorado contacted me and asked if I’d consider doing a recipe sight for southeastern Colorado. Sure! Why not? Super 8 of Lamar, Colorado
Need a motel in Lamar, Colorado? The Super 8 Motel offers clean rooms, cozy atmosphere, excellent wireless, and affordable rates. Over a three day stay, I was invited to have breakfast in their front room, overlooking the highway, the Arkansas River Bridge and the community of Lamar. While other motels surrounding the area may be newer, or may even be more luxurious, I found my visit there to be quite pleasant. The people were amazing. Local Writer Announces New Release in ACE Writers Spotlight
When Gary Penley releases a new book southeastern Colorado takes notice. Local boy grew up on the prairie south of town and released his first book, Rivers of Wind, an attribute to his boyhood memories, about his life on the prairies of Southeastern Colorado. Followed closely by three more books, Penley has enjoyed a wealth of publication credits and benefits. Most recently, his book, Deep Venture: A Sailor’s Story of Cold War Submarines has been released and he announced that release to ACE Writers Spotlight.
