Santa Fe Trail – Home of Pioneer Finery

One of the writers I admire most shared yesterday that he writes “feel-good, gift books” as a staple marketing tool. It sat me back a few years to when I was thinking that I’d really like to create coffee table books that imparted no real knowledge, but rather a feel-good message with pretty pictures, something anyone could pick up and read, without hesitating to put down at any point. Quilts, Antiques, Crafts and More Treasures…

Lenora Springer is an icon in Lamar. Not only has she been a lifetime resident of the community (she grew up with my mother), but more than once, she’s owned businesses in the heart of town, twice now in the same building recognized to those of us in the mid-years as the former Corner Pharmacy. Who could forget Cherry Cokes at the soda fountain?
