One of the writers I admire most shared yesterday that he writes “feel-good, gift books” as a staple marketing tool. It sat me back a few years to when I was thinking that I’d really like to create coffee table books that imparted no real knowledge, but rather a feel-good message with pretty pictures, something anyone could pick up and read, without hesitating to put down at any point.
