Cow Palace Inn Goes Green
Updated and renovated, the Cow Palace Inn in Lamar, Colorado offers a location for conferences, great hospitality and collective events. According to new owner Doug Thrall, the Inn will be open and on board for the Two Shot Goose Hunt in late November. Hometown Promotions – Lamar, CO
Sometimes I come across something that is just too exciting NOT to share. One of my favorite artists in the area is Patsy Place Wollert Oxley, and I noticed recently that she has a blog online celebrating Wednesday Windows. Had to visit her blog and the first thing I saw was a photo of the 3rd Street Nest, a Bed and Breakfast in Lamar, owned by Jane Felter. If you’ve got anything on your schedule for September 17th, 2011, you need to change it to Visit the Lamar Fall Festival in Lamar, Colorado. Absolutely NOTHING tops the Fall Festival in Lamar when local vendors and cottage industries camp out along Main Street with tables of everything you can think of from books (Oris George will BE there) to needle point, solving all your gift giving questions for the fall.
